About Us

Haverty Hollow has been providing Atlanta-area children with a fun educational and inspiring alternative that supplements formal learning environments since 1990. We offer a variety of programs year-round serving children aged 3 – 11, from preschool after school pick up to a state-licensed after school program for elementary-aged children and summer camps. You may also choose to register for school holiday camp days, for ages 4 – 11. That’s the Drop In option on our registration form, at left, under the leaves. Children enjoy organized outside games, science and art projects, music games and “nature walks” around the 4+ acre property bordered by Nancy Creek.

We’re located just off I-75 at West Paces Ferry Road and Northside Drive, behind the Church of the Apostles. Look for our Entrance sign at the fire hydrant.  A circular drive takes you past the “big field” which is bordered by the creek and where we play field games, around to the original log cabin, built in the 1940s. Please come visit us to observe the unique environment, from our large living room-like playroom to the multi-tiered playground.

Haverty Hollow’s Programs are designed to encourage appropriate risk-taking, decision-making and the practice of skills that build on the current level of each child’s development. Activities encourage cooperation among participants rather than competition. We also place a strong emphasis on the development of a positive attitude toward self and others.

Our commitment is to provide your child with an exceptional and interesting program in a nature-rich environment. Thank you for visiting our website. We encourage you to take a look around and browse our programs and offerings. Do contact us with any additional questions or to schedule a time to visit.
